We have one mouth and two ears for a reason. Repeat what you hear them say so they feel heard and know you understand. If it’s the first interview, don’t ask about time off or other things that benefit you that don’t have to do with the job. Also, bring a pen and paper and write down important things. If you’re anxious you’ll probably forget what they’ve said and you don’t want to ask them to tell you twice.
